Year 5: Happy Holidays from Jane!

Hi Indigo Class, the half-term holiday is here! I hope you have enjoyed learning all sorts of things about the Tudors and Life Cycles as well as Maths, writing and grammar this term. What was your favourite activity? What did you find out that surprised you? Which was your favourite clip or web page? What did you notice about yourself as a learner?

If you have any work you want to show me or songs, dances, artwork, poems, performances or cooking you would like to share as photos, clips, word documents or powerpoint presentations, you can send it to me at jane.currell@oasisjohanna.org. I would love to see anything you have been doing and I won't share it with anyone else unless you ask me to.

If you have read some great books, please let me know the titles and authors and explain why you enjoyed them in an e-mail to the address above. I'd love to hear your thoughts and ideas. Don't forget to write them on your 2020 challenge sheet, which you took home.

I hope you have a great week off. Next term we will be back with lots of fun activities to help us learn about Minibeasts in our "Beast Creator" topic.

Lastly, for those of you celebrating Eid this weekend, I hope it is a special time even if it is not quite the same as usual. Have a brilliant weekend, I know it is the highlight of the year for many of you. Eid Mubarak!

I'll be ringing you again after the break and look forward to chatting to you then.

Take care Indigo class,

Jane

P.S. Here's our class song
