BODY PERCUSSION WARM UP
At the start of the clip you will see the different patterns to make.
Pause the clip and have a practise first. Especially the green card, which is quite tricky.
Get fluent at the different patterns and then do the whole song.
Listen to the count in clicks 1 2 3 4
CLAP the pulse on beats 1 and 3
CLAP & STAMP on Beats 1&3
Listen again but this time stamp your feet Left - Right - Left - Right (it's more of a walk/march than a stamp)
Clap at the same time.
Use a mug and a pencil to tap out these rhythms as you listen to the backing track.
KEEP THE PULSE AT THE SAME TIME by walking one the spot to beats 1 & 3
TWO PEOPLE - Get two different size mugs and pens. Each person choose a rhythm to tap.
