QUIZ
Do you know what family of instruments are playing?
What instruments are in the string family?
Was the music the same speed/tempo all the way through?
What did you notice about the pitch? Are there high and low sounds?
INFORMATION
This piece of music is split into three parts. The beginning and end parts sound fast and high and the middle section sounding mostly lower and has a steady pulse/beat.
IMAGINE & MOVE
I want you to IMAGINE you are in a lovely, flower filled garden and you are a fast moving minibeast, maybe a beetle, butterfly, ant, bee etc.
Think of the movements that your minbeast would make. Scuttling, flapping etc.
CHOOSE WHICH MINIBEAST YOU WANT TO BE.
Now IMAGINE you are a gardener working in the garden. What jobs could you be doing? Mowing the grass, cutting the hedge with big shears, raking the leaves, digging the soil etc.
CHOOSE A GARDENING JOB
LISTEN to the music AGAIN and be a mini beast and a gardener.
When you hear the FAST minibeast MUSIC at the beginning and end, make your minibeast movements.
When you hear the SLOWER steady sounds in the middle do the gardening action you have chosen, keeping in time with the music.
SING
Join in with the actions
