Hi Everyone! I want to wish you all a half term filled with sunshine! Here are a couple of flower experiments that you can do at home. They are a lot of fun to do. Let me know how you get on with them by sending your photos to email@example.com
Water Blooming Paper Flowers!
Make your own flowers and watch them open in the water. You will need paper, scissors and a bowl of water. Watch the video to show you how to do this.
Colour Changing Flowers
You will need some white flowers/celery, food colouring and clear containers to put water in. You have to be patient to do this experiment. Check back every day to see how your flowers are changing colour. Watch the video to see what to do!
Remember you can use celery stalks instead of flowers.
Now that we have come to the end of our topic, I hope that you have learnt how plants grow, why fruit and vegetables are good for us and that you have had fun being creative and maybe doing some of the science experiments that I have suggested. Please send any photos via email to firstname.lastname@example.org that you have done this half term. I would love to see them.
Have fun Red Class! Olive.
